Intratek Computer, Inc. is looking for a Sr. Field Service Technician to support our client in the Dallas, Ft Worth area.

Position Overview

The Deskside Support team is initiating a comprehensive computer refresh project to replace aging devices approaching end of life. This initiative is essential to ensure continued operational stability, security compliance, and improved end-user productivity across the organization.

This role will provide hands-on deskside and field support for desktop/laptop deployments, hardware replacements, peripheral installations, and end-user setup activities while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform deployment, installation, configuration, and replacement of desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and related peripherals
  • Support enterprise-wide computer refresh and migration activities
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and Windows operating system issues
  • Provide deskside technical support to end users in a professional and timely manner
  • Coordinate and manage multiple deployment schedules and assigned tickets independently
  • Ensure proper inventory tracking, asset handling, and device staging procedures
  • Assist with equipment transportation, setup, and relocation activities as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and completed deployments

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and Windows-based systems
  • Hands-on experience setting up and supporting desktops, laptops, printers, docking stations, and peripherals
  • Ability to troubleshoot common hardware and software issues independently
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deployments simultaneously
  • Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport computer equipment and related hardware

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting enterprise-level computer refresh or migration projects
  • Experience with ticketing systems and asset management tools
  • Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or similar certifications are a plus
