Intratek Computer, Inc. is looking for a Sr. Field Service Technician to support our client in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

Position Overview

The Deskside Support team is conducting an enterprise-wide computer refresh initiative to replace aging desktop and laptop equipment. This role will provide hands-on deskside and field support for hardware deployments, device replacements, end-user setup, and migration activities while maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, install, configure, and replace desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, docking stations, and related peripherals
  • Support enterprise-wide PC refresh and migration projects
  • Image, configure, and set up new computer systems
  • Migrate user data and verify system functionality
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and Windows operating system issues
  • Provide deskside technical support to end users in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate deployment schedules and manage assigned tickets independently
  • Maintain accurate inventory, asset tracking, and deployment documentation
  • Assist with equipment transportation, setup, and relocation activities as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical support role
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and Windows operating systems
  • Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deployments daily
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Reliable transportation, punctual attendance, and a valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to successfully pass a CJIS background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with enterprise PC refresh or deployment projects
  • Experience with SCCM, Intune, or other imaging/deployment tools
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with ticketing systems and asset management tools
  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or related certifications
  • Experience working in enterprise or corporate IT environments
