Overview:
Senior Power BI developer to help spearhead Power BI software development to provide BI reports and dashboards to the users.
 
Responsibilities:
1. Designing and developing BI reports and dashboards:
This involves understanding the business requirements, designing the data model, and developing visualizations on dashboards that provide actionable insights.
2. Data management: are responsible for managing data sets, ensuring they are clean, accurate, and ready for analysis.
Need to be able to understand Data warehouse data models and perform data extraction to use them on the dashboards.
 
3.Collaborating with stakeholders:
Need to  work closely with   business users, business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet them.
4. Ensuring data accuracy:
must ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data presented in the dashboards and reports. This involves validating the data and implementing quality checks.
5.Training end-users:
Train end-users on how to use the dashboards and reports effectively. This includes explaining how to interpret the data and make data-driven decisions.
6.Troubleshooting and maintenance:
Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain the Power BI infrastructure to ensure it’s up-to-date and running smoothly.
 
Qualifications:
1.Educational background: A bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems.
2. Technical skills: Should have a strong understanding of data analysis and visualization principles and proficiency in Power BI and other data tools like Tableau and Qlikview.
Must have at least 5 years with Power BI development experience .
Must have experience with SQL and understanding of data models.
3.Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail is required.
