Intratek Computer, Inc. is looking for a Senior IS Project Manager to support us in Orange, CA.

Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will support the Information Systems Operations Department and work under the direction of the Department Manager of IS Operations.
This individual will be responsible for coordinating and managing a wide range of complex Operations and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) technology projects using Agile project management methodologies. The role requires adaptability to rapidly changing priorities, as project requirements and schedules frequently shift.
This is a highly dynamic role involving the oversight of multiple large-scale and smaller-scale initiatives, with a strong focus on ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and alignment with operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Operations and ITS technology projects from initiation through close-out, following Agile project management principles.
- Collaborate with internal staff, contractors, and vendors to track project deliverables, timelines, and risks.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and project status meetings.
- Adjust project priorities and timelines in response to evolving operational needs.
- Document and escalate risks, issues, and change requests as appropriate.
- Ensure projects align with organizational goals for infrastructure and operations.
Sample Operations Project Assignments May Include:
- Migration from a colocation data center to Microsoft Azure.
- Deployment of Microsoft Copilot.
- Transition of departmental data to SharePoint/Teams Online.
- Replacement of Wi-Fi infrastructure and core network switches across multiple operational sites.
- Infrastructure build-out for new office facilities (target occupancy 2027).
- Infrastructure support for a new Transit Security and Operations Center (TSOC).
- Support of additional technology projects and new initiatives as assigned.
Sample ITS Project Assignments May Include:
- Radio network core enhancement across multiple tower and base locations.
- Migration to a regional 800MHz communications system.
- Technology infrastructure build-out for a streetcar project, including maintenance facilities, platforms, and on-board systems (IVUs, Cradlepoint routers, cameras, etc.).
- IVU retrofit and Cradlepoint router upgrade projects.
- Automatic Passenger Count (APC) sensor replacement.
- Support for other ITS and transportation technology initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (equivalent work experience accepted).
- 7–10 years of experience managing complex IT or infrastructure projects.
- Strong command of Agile methodologies and principles.
- Experience with Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project for scheduling and task tracking.
- Familiarity with cloud migrations (especially Microsoft Azure), wireless infrastructure, and enterprise networking.
- Background in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Agile-related certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, PMI-ACP) preferred; PMP is a plus but not required.
Assignment Details:
- This is a contract assignment through Intratek Computer, Inc.
- Work will be performed under the direction of the Department Manager of IS Operations.
- No direct supervisory responsibilities over internal staff.

Duration:
Multi-year assignment, dependent on project needs and performance.
Location:
Primarily onsite at facilities throughout Orange County. Hybrid work may be allowed based on project requirements and management approval.
